Location Address: 100 Queens Quay East, 9th Floor, TorontoNumber of Openings: 1Pay $72,205.00 - $130,012.00Job Posting Description:The LCBO is currently seeking a Microsoft Office 365 Specialist on our End User Computing (EUC) team who will be responsible for providing technical leadership and key domain expertise on these key platforms: MS Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Power platform and new emerging Microsoft technologies. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, End User Computing, the Microsoft 365 Specialist will plan, design, develop, and implement, maintain a large scope of novel applications and platforms, including overall integration and data transformations ensuring the programming standards and business requirements are met. You will be a key member in leading the LCBO\xe2\x80\x99s IT transformation and modernization initiatives as you will engage in cross functional continuous improvement initiatives and be an advocate for positive capability transformations.We have a hybrid work policy, this role is required to be in the Head Office 3 times a week, no exceptions.This Role also potentially will be on rotation on-call, still to be determined.What is the role about?

  • Act as the technical subject matter expert in administration of Microsoft 365 platform, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Viva, Purview, and other apps within 365
  • Provide day-to-day operational 365 platform, licensing, and general office 365 administration and automation support.
  • Own the integrations and feature updates of O365 platform and manage the tool roadmaps.
  • Partner with key vendors and areas across the firm to provide appropriate technology solutions.
  • Provide input from multiple systems perspectives and ensure alignment to IT Strategy and industry best practices, as well as establishes frameworks and methodologies for approaching assignments.
  • Analyze current information systems requirements and integrate new applications or platform including data transformations and programs for automatic correction of erroneous data in accordance with IT strategy, industry standards and modern software development best practices.
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop new capabilities by validating and providing resolution recommendations and encouraging technical SMEs to provide \'Out of the Box\' infrastructure solutions.
  • Works on (or leads) advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring advanced knowledge.
  • Developing and delivering training programs/presentations to educate stakeholders, users, and IT support staff on best practices, policies and adoption.
  • Monitoring Office365 Tenant for any major change or Outages and proactively updating Service Desk Team, SME\xe2\x80\x99 s & IT Operation Management Team about it and assist in resolving issues.
  • Lead, guide, coach and Mentor team members and end-users in Microsoft 365 best practices, emphasizing security, compliance, and efficient use of the platform\'s tools/features.
  • Evaluate and select/recommend suitable technologies and frameworks to meet specific project needs, while assessing risks and trade-offs.
  • Monitor the Office 365 environment and proactively implement changes to reduce risk and minimize unplanned outage or performance issues.
  • Ability to architect, scope, and prioritize work based on feedback from the customer.
  • Document processes and configurations for Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring clarity and compliance.
  • Liaise with users throughout the project lifecycle to ensure effective planning for changes to user environments and user participation in all phases of the project.
  • Staying up to date with current and latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and security best practices, as well as technologies emerging in the industry
  • Make recommendations for adopting new technologies that can benefit the organization.
  • Perform other relevant job duties, as assigned from time to time.
What will you bring to the team?
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience designing and developing complex infrastructure platforms.
  • 7+ years experience with managing IT service delivery of the Microsoft 365: SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Office 365
  • Stay current of all things Office 365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.
  • Configuration and maintenance of policies, settings, and packages within the 365 ecosystems
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 tenant as Global admin is required.
  • Experience in configuring, maintaining, and supporting SharePoint Online (both content publishing and team sites)
  • Technical knowledge and expertise in coding languages .NET solutions using C# utilizing client-side frameworks like React or Angular, .NET Core,
Core, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PowerShell scripting and Graph API, SPFX, * Understanding and experience in PowerApps and Power Automate, Power BI in designing and building applications.
  • 4+ years experience of permissions (Tenant \\Power apps \\ Power Automate \\Teams \\Security & Compliance Center, Viva Pulse\\ Dataverse)
  • Knowledge of industry O365 platform best practices, leading-edge cloud security technologies, and products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft M365, Power Platform or Azure certified (an asset)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively will all levels of stakeholders.
  • An enquiring mind with the ability to be adaptable and think outside the box to search for answers.
  • Must be highly organized with great attention to detail and providing quality results.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines both on tasks and projects, and with changing priorities.
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to effectively lead, guide and mentor staff, vendor and project team.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment for self and team members.
  • Ability to work from a ticketing system and provide quality updates to clients and team.
  • Ability to document all work completed.
  • Be the Technical escalation point for staff/Business-Critical problems.
  • Experience working with large-scale production environments requiring minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot more complex applications, infrastructure problems or other IT problems that may have a significant impact on our Office 365 service: Mobile Device Management, Identity Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, Cloud Access Security etc.
