Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipelayer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipelaying. This role is essential in contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
Responsible for laying pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains at construction sites in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. Perform tasks involving physical labour on construction sites in accordance with Wintec policies and procedures. Tasks include, but are not limited to, grade trenches or culverts, position pipe and seal joints and dewatering. Perform other site duties or functions, consistent with status or vocational ability as may be required from time to time. Ensure a safe work environment for our people, clients, subcontractors, and the public.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience deep underground utilities experience
Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and specifications
Thorough understanding of construction site safety practices
Extensive knowledge of equipment utilization, operation, and maintenance
Must have your own transportation
Physically demanding outdoor conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.30 per hour
