Sewer

and Water Pipelayers

to join our team for the 2025 construction season. This position involves working on sewer and water utility installation projects across Alberta and surrounding areas. the role requires precision, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.

Certifications / Training:

Proven experience as a pipelayer in sewer and water utility installation projects. Familiarity with trenching, pipe-laying methods, and backfilling techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and grade stakes. Ground Disturbance Level 2 Certification (In-class) Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable means of transportation. Mandatory pre-screening for drug/alcohol. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, days, weekends, and overtime. CSTS and WHMIS
Key Responsibilities:

Install sewer and water lines, including mainlines, services, and connections. Lay and align pipes accurately to grade specifications. Perform trenching, backfilling, and compacting as required. Inspect and ensure proper functioning of pipe systems. Work closely with the excavator operator and other crew members to ensure efficient operations. Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Working hours are typically 7 am - 5 pm; 5-6 days a week with overtime paid as per AB construction industry standard.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
