Faculty/Department Faculty of Education Unit Education-Dean's Office Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Sessional Number of Vacancies Multiple Position Summary
Successful candidates will be assigned to supervise pre-intern student teachers in Regina and/or throughout the province. They will act as liaison persons for the faculty and offer resources, guidance and support for the cooperating teacher and pre-interns. Sessional supervisors are expected to be available to visit and provide support/guidance as needed by the pre-intern and/or cooperating teachers for the duration of pre-internship. Please note, that should the pre-intern student withdraw from the field experience before completion the Sessional supervisor for pre-internship will be paid on a prorated basis.
Remuneration for this position is based on the current rate of $274.65 per assigned pre-intern student teacher congruent with the URFA Collective Agreement.
Position Requirements
Normally applicants will have a Master's degree in Education and experience in the education system appropriate to the area of supervision applied for, knowledge and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum, and knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs. Applicants should have proficiency with K-12 curriculum documents and be abreast with current pedagogical approaches in the K-12 system.
Must have access to personal vehicle.
Please note: if circumstances emerge that interrupt the completion of the contract, payment will be prorated for work completed.
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
