Course Number and Title: VIS209H1S - Contemporary Printing
Course Description: Introduction to contemporary printmaking that covers publishing to 3D printing. This course looks at the concept of copying and producing one-of-a-kind artifacts. Drawing on both centuries old techniques and the most modern technologies, students will explore what it means to make an image in the contemporary moment.

Minimum Qualifications: MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with previous teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist with expertise in contemporary printmaking strategies. Applicants may be asked to supply references.
Preferred Qualifications: Internationally recognized practice.
Description of Duties: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours.
