Description: This course is designed to lead the student through the winter term through all practical and logistical phases of the final exhibition/project. This includes observance of critical path/work-back as developed by the Art Museum team, participation in workshops, the finalization/detailing of checklist, floorplan, budget/fundraising plan, communications, outreach plan, didactics and development of brochure contents for print. All work will be completed by the end of the winter term, and before the exhibition commences in the spring. The course is developed in collaboration with VIS2101Y.
Class Schedule: L0101 - Thursday 9:00am - 12:00pm
Sessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2023 - April 30, 2023
Estimate of the course enrolment: Approximately 8 students
Salary: Sessional Lecturer I - $8,489.67; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $8,869.25; Sessional Lecturer II - $9,085.58; Sessional Lecturer III - $9,301.90 per half course

Minimum Qualifications: MA or MFA required with teaching experience. Applicants may be asked to supply references.
Preferred Qualifications: 5-10 years curatorial experience with experience in art publishing and commissioning.
Description of Duties: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions, and student contact hours.
