IS 300: Globalization: Its Dynamics and Consequences

The course focuses on the driving forces and consequences of globalization. First, it seeks to bring clarity to the idea of globalization by engaging with major arguments. Second, it analyzes the distinct processes of globalization. Third, it explores how globalizing dynamics are linked to the local, national and regional transformations. Position Requirements
  • MA or PhD in International Studies or related discipline; PhD or PhD-ABD is preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in the course\xe2\x80\x99s subject; a record of academic research and/or publication related to the course\xe2\x80\x99s subject is preferred
  • A record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level
  • Experience teaching courses on globalization is preferred


Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
Tuesdays and Thursdays 1600-1715
