Position Description

The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach ENTI 201 LEC 01 in Spring 2023. Classes in the Spring 2023 semester run from May 3 to June 15. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between June 19 to June 21, if applicable.

ENTI 201 LEC 01 (Intro to Business Venturing)
Tuesday, Thursday 18:30-21:15

The calendar description of the course:
Introduction to the various business disciplines from the perspective of creating a new business venture. The primary learning methodology is a term project; students identify a business opportunity, research the opportunity, and write a business plan for the business.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA, or PhD) or work experience in a relevant field is required.
  • Work experience relevant to the course is desirable.
  • Previous post secondary teaching experience is a requirement.
  • Understanding of core strategy and entrepreneurship frameworks is required.
  • Experience teaching strategy or entrepreneurship courses is preferred.
  • Experience with project-based courses is desirable.
