Position Description
The Department of Computer Science, within the Faculty of Science, invites applications for a Winter 2024 term Sessional Instructor.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities for instruction and associated duties for this 3-unit course during the Winter 2024 Term, including the supervision and direction of teaching assistants who instruct the tutorial sections.
Computer Science 251: Theoretical Foundations of Computer Science I
Proof techniques. Recursion and iteration. Specification of algorithmic problems and fundamental proof techniques in Computer Science. Discrete structures such as graphs, trees, strings, functions, and their computer representation. Counting, permutations. Random events. Conditional events. Applications in Computer Science.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a minimum of an MSc in Computer Science or a closely related discipline with a PhD preferred. Preference will be given to graduate students and postdocs in our program looking to obtain teaching experience, followed by applicants with a postgraduate degree.
