Course Description: This course is designed to provide knowledge and applications of advanced aspects/tools related to sustainability management. The course covers advanced aspects focused on carbon (GHG) measurement, accounting, and auditing; energy use, efficiency and management in built environments, industrial sectors and communities. This course will equip students with the industry knowledge and essential skills to manage the risks and opportunities of transitioning an organization to the low carbon economy and prepare them for a sustainable future.
Description of Duties: Typical duties may include invigilation, grading term exams and assignments, compiling grades, adding to course content as appropriate.Additional duties may include: setting up and/or maintaining Quercus course site; and hosting weekly office hours.
Est. Total Required Hours: 50hours
Rate: $46.92 per hour
Enrolment: 50 students
Qaulifications: Min. Requirement: Preferably a PhD student (Doctoral Candidate) or suitable graduate student with a research interest in Science as it pertains to Sustainability issues in Water, Energy and Carbon.
Preferred Requirement: Preference given to applicants with previous TA experience in this or equivalent course(s).
