Job Description

The Department of Computing Science requires sessional instructor(s) to teach, on a contract basis, COMP 3610-02, COMP 2230-02, COMP 2210-02, and COMP 2920-03 courses in the Winter 2026 semester.


The ability to teach in this area would be a definite asset. Other courses may be considered depending on the needs of the Department and the qualifications of the candidate(s).

Duties will include delivering lectures, labs, and seminars, marking assignments, tests and examinations. All courses have been already developed and offered on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a Master's degree in computing science or a closely related area is required. A PhD in computing science or a closely related area is preferred. Ability to teach undergraduate students is required. Prior university-level teaching experience in computing science and evidence of excellence in teaching (teaching dossier, teaching evaluations, etc.) is preferred. * Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
