Job Description
- Service Tech Assistant
To assist service technician with completing on-site services for our clients. The candidate will work with the service tech on a daily basis to assist them in repair and maintenance of indoor and outdoor swimming pools, saunas and spas. Goal is working to become a certified Service Technician
RESPONSIBILITIES- To assist Tech with the following
Logging and reporting on scheduled daily work orders Troubleshoot pumps, filters, heaters, service chlorine pumps and check condition of pool, sauna and hot tub equipment Repair and installation of pool, sauna and hot tub equipment Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulation requirements Opening and closing of swimming pools
SKILLS
Customer service experience Previous pool/trade experience and pool equipment knowledge is an asset Mechanical Aptitude Valid G Drivers License required with clean drivers abstract Ability to learn quickly and follow instruction/procedures/product manuals Ability to work independently and in a team environment Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to handle the physical demands of the job
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
During busy season may be required to work long hours and/or 6 days a week Working indoors and outdoors Training Provided Safety footwear is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
