We are seeking an experienced Service Project Manager to join our team in Bolton, Ontario.
This role is 100% on-site and ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced service
environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the
service industry, overseeing break-fix, site refresh, infrastructure, and networking projects.
You will be responsible for managing multiple ongoing initiatives, leading a team of project
coordinators, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest
quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Manage Projects: Oversee multiple concurrent projects including break-fix
service work, site refreshes, infrastructure deployments, and networking rollouts.
Team Leadership: Supervise and coach a team of Project Coordinators, ensuring
productivity, accountability, and professional growth.
Project Planning & Scheduling: Create detailed project schedules, task lists, and
timelines to ensure smooth execution across all active projects.
Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain project dashboards and reporting metrics
to provide visibility into project health, progress, and performance.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between internal
departments, field teams, and clients--facilitating clear, timely communication and issue
resolution.
Resource & Budget Control: Allocate personnel and equipment resources efficiently,
monitor budgets, and ensure projects are completed within financial targets.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation plans, and adapt
project strategies as needed.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project
scope, deliverables, and completion reports.
Process Improvement: Evaluate existing workflows and introduce enhancements to
improve service efficiency and delivery consistency.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive, professional
relationships with clients by delivering reliable service and proactive communication.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a service-oriented or
technical environment (IT, telecom, or field service).
Strong background managing break-fix, site refresh, infrastructure, and networking
projects.
Familiarity with structured cabling projects or cabling coordination is a plus.
Experience using project management software such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft
Project, or Zoho Projects.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to
detail.
Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and managing project coordinators
or support staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable creating
visual reports and dashboards.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and networking fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification (or actively pursuing one).
Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), telecommunications, or
enterprise service environments.
Familiarity with ITIL or service management processes.
