Fortius Mechanical Inc., a

UA516 union contractor

, is seeking an experienced

Service Plumbing Foreman

to lead our plumbing service team. We proudly service a strong portfolio of

municipal and city-owned buildings

, along with other long-standing clients. We are looking for a

well-rounded leader

who can manage service crews, oversee projects, assist with estimating, and ensure quality workmanship for our valued customers. Key Responsibilities:



Lead and supervise plumbing service technicians on projects and service calls Plan, coordinate, and oversee plumbing installations, repairs,

drainage work

, and maintenance Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with code Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and drainage systems, providing technical guidance to the team Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and office staff Maintain accurate records of work performed, including work orders and reports Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians to help them develop their skills Represent Fortius Mechanical with professionalism and customer-first service

Assist with tenders and estimating projects

, including reviewing drawings, developing scopes of work, and preparing cost breakdowns

Required Qualifications and Experience:



Journeyman Plumber (Red Seal or equivalent) certification (required) Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience Strong knowledge of plumbing systems,

drainage systems

, installations, and maintenance Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Experience in municipal or commercial service work is an asset Gas fitting license (B or A) considered an asset Valid driver's license (required)

Pay Rate:


$74.93 - $81.54 per hour (UA516 union package, depending on experience and qualifications)
