Service Person (Transit Assistant) Overview

The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is currently inviting applications for the position of Service Person (Transit Assistant) to clean, wash, and pre-trip Transit Buses; perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on Transit and other fleet vehicles; maintain the repair shop and grounds of the Mason Road site; and perform cleaning, maintenance and installation work on bus stops and shelters. Compensation and Benefits

The Service Person (Transit Assistant) is a bargaining unit position with a 2026 wage rate of

$33.28 per hour

, working up to 35 hours per week. Please note that this position may require you to work late nights, early mornings, weekdays, and weekends. In addition,

appointment is subject to a satisfactory RCMP Police Information Check

.
