We are currently looking for an experienced

Service Coordinator

to join our Service team at our Main Office in Maple Ridge, BC.

Reporting to the Warranty Manager, the

Service & Operations Coordinator

will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and field personnel. While responsible for coordinating the daily assignment of service crews, this role will require the performance and completion of daily bookkeeping tasks and other administrative duties as needed. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills to effectively handle service requests, dispatch teams and monitor ongoing field operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to operational excellence.





Specifically, the

Service & Operations Coordinator

will:




Receive and prioritize service requests: Handle incoming requests for mechanical services and emergency assistance, ensuring timely and appropriate responses. Dispatch personnel: Assign service crews based on the nature of the request, location, urgency, and adhere to established schedules and protocols. Monitor Field Operations: Track the status and location of field personnel, ensuring efficient deployment and adherence to safety standards. Coordinate Communication: Serve as the centre point of contact between field teams, management, and customers, facilitating clear and effective communication. Advise on Route and Traffic Conditions: Provide field teams with up-to-date information on route conditions, traffic, construction zones, and weather-related issues to optimize response times Maintain and update databases, ensuring current, accurate information. Perform and manage all accounting operations for Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Prepare and send invoices promptly. Perform all related month-end and year-end closing processes. Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities. Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in

QuickBooks Online.

Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and tax requirements. + GST

Collaborate with the team to streamline bookkeeping processes. Support company growth by taking on new responsibilities as you learn. Manage permits and compliance paperwork. Other duties as required.

Education and Experience:




A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a service company, in a related sector. Previous experience in bookkeeping is considered an asset. Formal education in business management, administration, accounting or operations management is considered a strong asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient in QuickBooks Experience with dispatching software is considered an asset



Compensation:

$55,000 to $71,000/year (DOE) + 5% RRSP + 100% Employer-paid Extended Health & Dental benefits package + Life Insurance + LTD + AD&D.
