We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our service department operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of Recreational products repair, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service while managing the day-to-day activities of the service team.
Duties
Manage and supervise the service department staff, including mechanics and service advisors, to ensure efficient operations.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
Collaborate with the service team to promote upselling opportunities for additional services and products.
Maintain a thorough understanding of recreational product repair processes and dealership operations to guide staff effectively.
Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in customer service, sales techniques, and mechanical knowledge.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies.
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within an recreational dealership or repair environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various recreational product issues.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients.
Experience in cash handling and financial transactions related to service operations.
Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
Familiarity with sales strategies, particularly in upselling recreational units services or products.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
A valid driver's license is required.
