We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Service Manager to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the VP, Services North America and play a key part in supporting our service and production teams. You'll be responsible for driving revenue through quoting and negotiating service agreements, scheduling and overseeing service work, and working closely with both local and global Services teams to ensure seamless execution.
Your ability to foster strong client relationships will be essential, as you'll actively gather and evaluate customer feedback to continuously improve our service experience and ensure client satisfaction. In this role you
Partner with the VP, Services North America to help shape and execute long-term growth strategies for the Service team.
Lead, coordinate, and schedule daily operations for the Service team, ensuring projects and service work run smoothly.
Own the order intake and revenue targets for production support services.
Prepare quotes, negotiate service visits, project start-up support, and standard service agreements to drive business success.
Identify new opportunities for service contracts, field services, performance-based agreements, and site service partnerships -- always in alignment with the VP, Services North America.
Stay connected to our customers by following up on service performance, gathering feedback, and reporting insights to leadership.
Ensure you and your team consistently follow all company policies, including those related to HR and workplace conduct.
Work alongside our global and local safety teams to promote and uphold safety standards for your team.
Collaborate with HR and the VP, Services North America to recruit, onboard, and train new team members, build engagement, and address any performance concerns.
Oversee the skills matrix and training plans to support continuous development for new and existing employees.
All other duties as assigned.
In this role, travel time of 25% is required.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
5+ Years' experience in leading, managing and developing a service business, servicing industrial machinery
Degree or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or similar
Strong technical background with equipment used in a manufacturing industry
Good understanding of how to develop operational excellence and continuous improvements through proactive service and maintenance
Flexibility to travel locally through Canada and the U.S as required
Must possess a valid passport and driver's license
Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI
Microsoft office package
