Service Desk Analyst

Location: Oavkille, ON

Job Type: 6 month contract (opportunity for extension or permanent hire)

Overview:

The Service Desk Analyst will help support a great user experience, focusing on the onboarding and offboarding of users. They will provide the framework for this process and maintain documentation.

What will you do as a Service Desk Analyst at Spark Power?

  • Create and provision new users on Active Directory and all other defined Spark Power Applications
  • Provision and deploy new Company-issued end-user devices (e.g. laptops, mobile devices)
  • Manage relationships with Functional Groups and other IT Services team members to enable better service of Onboarding
and Offboarding. * Create and Maintain Documentation for Onboarding and Offboarding Process and Procedures
  • Provide exemplary end-user support and service in all situations via the Incident Management Tool and Service Desk Helpline
  • Support users in multiple locations, such as branch locations, office, customer sites and home.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
Do you have the Spark? Here's what we are looking for:
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant area of studies such as, Computer Science, Computer Systems Technology
  • At least 1 year post-graduate experience in a Service Desk or similar position
  • Experience with Microsoft Technologies such as (but not limited to):
  • Active Directory
  • Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive)
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Planner
  • Office 365 Administration (including Exchange Online)
  • FileShares/Network drives
  • Group Policy objects
  • NetSuite experience is an asset
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Adaptable and able to maintain a positive attitude in times of change
  • Ability to alternate between Team environment and working independently
  • Willingness for continuous learning and development
  • Collaboration mindset, willing to get involved and make suggestions to help drive changes in procedures, standards and support methods
  • Ability to work within a hybrid work model of 4 days in office, 1 work from home day
