As our Service Coordinator, you are responsible for responding to the daily needs of our customers, pro-actively organizing and scheduling work for our field service technicians, driving profitable service revenue, and building strong relationships with our customers based in the Okanagan and Cariboo, BC region.

Requirements

Daily activities will include:
  • Communicating with customers via telephone, email, and face-to face.
  • Making proactive phone calls to schedule service work.
  • Promptly responding to incoming customer inquiries.
  • Basic troubleshooting to determine customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Utilizing computer software and business systems to schedule work and create service work orders.
  • Creating repair estimates for customers and providing necessary follow-up.
  • Reviewing service work orders and time sheets for accuracy prior to billing.
  • Organizing and picking service parts for scheduled work.
  • Shipping parts to customers.
  • Receiving incoming shipments from trucks and couriers.
  • Stocking parts and materials on shelves.
  • Assisting with organization and cleanliness of small shop/warehouse area.
  • Collaborating with service team and other internal departments to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma mandatory. Post-secondary diploma, or certificate is preferred.
  • Previous experience with service coordination/service dispatching is preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain harmonious relationships with a wide variety of people, and work as part of a cohesive team.
Attentive listening skills.

Professional communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written).

Strong technical writing skills, with experience preparing technical sales quotations/proposals.

Customer focus with the ability to articulate and define value for the customer.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a fast paced, frequently changing, high-volume environment, while providing consistent high-quality work.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Strong sense of duty and responsibility.

Comprehension of all technical information, equipment manuals, parts manuals, and maintenance schedules.

Tech savvy with proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and associated business software.

Accuracy and attention to detail in handling frequent paperwork and documentation processes.
  • Ability to work at a computer station while sitting at desk for extended periods of time on a daily basis.
  • Understanding of basic accounting procedures.
  • No criminal record.
  • High level of integrity and ethical values.
  • Valid Driver\'s License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI\'s in previous 5 years.

  • This position is based out of our office located in Kelowna, BC.
