Overview


We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Manager to oversee the parts department in our shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management. This role is critical in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by managing inventory levels, negotiating with suppliers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities



Manage the parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demands. Oversee purchasing activities, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for the best pricing and quality. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their parts inquiries and orders. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and manage the parts department . Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of forklifts when handling inventory.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a parts/inventory is preferred. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in purchasing, procurement, and supply chain processes. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes is beneficial. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
