Service Advisor
North York
Day shift
7am to 6pm - Monday to Thursday

Duties:

Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
Welcoming customers and discussing their needs
Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labour into consideration
Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle\'s problems or symptoms
Connecting customers to the right auto technician
Test-driving vehicles to confirm the customers\' vehicle is repaired as needed
Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions

Assets:

A high school diploma or post-secondary education.
Truck Service Advisor experience in a dealership environment (preferred).
At least 2 year sales experience - previous experience in a truck or automotive dealership or aftermarket environment is preferred.
Ability to use and learn company-provided software (CDK and Reynolds and Reynolds)
Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong customer service skills in order to handle customer complaints and questions
Critical thinking, organization, time management and problem-solving skills to perform their job successfully
