Service Advisor
North York
Day shift
7am to 6pm - Monday to Thursday

Duties:

  • Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
  • Welcoming customers and discussing their needs
  • Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
  • Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labour into consideration
  • Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle\'s problems or symptoms
  • Connecting customers to the right auto technician
  • Test-driving vehicles to confirm the customers\' vehicle is repaired as needed
  • Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions
Assets:
  • A high school diploma or post-secondary education.
  • Truck Service Advisor experience in a dealership environment (preferred).
  • At least 2 year sales experience - previous experience in a truck or automotive dealership or aftermarket environment is preferred.
  • Ability to use and learn company-provided software (CDK and Reynolds and Reynolds)
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service skills in order to handle customer complaints and questions
  • Critical thinking, organization, time management and problem-solving skills to perform their job successfully
