Position Overview:
The Service Advisor is the front line of our customer experience, responsible for building relationships, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied. We're looking for someone who is energetic, organized, and passionate about both customer service and sales success.
This role demands a high level of communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly, build trust, and assess their vehicle service needs.
Recommend additional services based on inspections and maintenance needs to maximize sales opportunities.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the service process.
Prepare accurate service estimates and work orders.
Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and parts staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Follow up with customers on approvals, service status updates, and post-service satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of organization, accuracy, and professionalism.
Help drive shop performance KPIs including car count, ARO (average repair order), and closing ratio.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, or Sales Consultant in the automotive industry (preferred).
Strong sales skills and customer service focus.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with automotive repair processes and service management software (an asset).
