The Service Advisor is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by accurately documenting vehicle concerns, recommending maintenance and repair services, and managing repair orders from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and act as the main point of contact in the service department
Perform vehicle walk-arounds and document concerns accurately
Open, manage, and close repair orders in the DMS
Recommend required and preventative maintenance based on OEM guidelines
Communicate repair status clearly with customers and internal teams
Review completed work and explain invoices at vehicle delivery
Meet performance targets for sales, CSI, and productivity
Qualifications
Previous automotive service or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and sales skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset
Experience with dealership software (PBS, CDK, Reynolds, etc.) an asset
Valid driver's license
