We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking truck & transport mechanical services, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy duty, automotive repair and customer service.
Duties
Create and update work orders.
Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs.
Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to address customer concerns.
Manage service appointments and follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status.
Process transactions accurately, including cash handling for services rendered.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
Address any customer complaints or issues in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
Mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
Sales experience is a plus.
Familiarity with automotive & HD repair processes and terminology.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
