Overview

We are seeking dedicated a server to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive taproom experience for our guests.

Duties

Greet and seat customers in a friendly and courteous manner Take food and beverage orders accurately Deliver orders to tables promptly and efficiently Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Comply with current health, safety, and liquor licenses Maintaining a safe, fun environment for guests and staff Assessing customer preferences and making menu recommendations Coordinating large groups/special events Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, washrooms and work areas upon starting a shift and hourly to maintain a sanitary environment Reporting to the manager or owners regarding maintenance, guest issues and general updates Balancing cash receipts at the end of your shift or closing your cash at the end of the night

Requirements

Must be available during the afternoon and able to work on short notice Experience as a bartender considered an asset Knowledge of a second language will be considered an asset Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Must be able to change out kegs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and adapt to restaurant procedures Knowledge of basic math for handling payments Familiarity with food safety guidelines Knowledge of digital and social media marketing is an asset Knowledge of mixology is an asset
