Stingray Bar|Eatery is the newest concept opening for Century Hospitality Group. Located in the beautiful river valley neighborhood of Crestwood, we bring a vision of crafting a dining experience that focuses on the atmosphere as much as the cuisine. Stingray\xe2\x80\x99s stylish look and ambiance, coupled with its signature dishes, will garnish a cult following for those wanting to experience Japanese fusion with a Century Hospitality Group twist. Stingray was born of the idea to provide exceptional food, crafted cocktails, luxurious Japanese spirits in a room that is all inclusive. • Create a fanatical guest experience through interaction and adherence to the Stingray Bar steps of service
• Exemplary knowledgeable of all food and beverage items for making recommendations to our valued guests.
• WSET or I.S.G accreditation is a welcomed asset.
• Communicate beverage descriptions, specials and information to guests and team members
• Be well versed in wine & sake varietals, base spirits and craft beer
• Be aware and diligent of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
• Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards
• Monitor the cleanliness of section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
• Follow all food safety standards and systems
• Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
• Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
• You are positive and energetic

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of serving in fast paced and upscale dining establishment. Previous Asian restaurant experience is considered an asset
• ProServe Certification is a requirement
• WSET or I.S.G certification is an asset
• High attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills and sales ability
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of product knowledge and ability to retain new information provided
• Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
