Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using basic math skills for order accuracy. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring adherence to food safety and handling standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with care. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service to all guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Basic math skills are essential for processing orders and handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with serving duties.
