Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests by delivering quality service and maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately. Process payments using the POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations. Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards and guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and cashier station. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery. Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cashiering or food service is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing high-quality service.
