Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.

Duties

Service Preparation & Cleanliness

: Set up and maintain restaurant areas, including patios, service stations, and washrooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for guests.

Guest Interaction

: Greet guests warmly, provide menu explanations, recommend food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and handling inquiries or complaints professionally.

Order Accuracy & Upselling

: Take accurate food and drink orders, process special requests, upsell menu items, and record orders in the POS system.

Food & Beverage Knowledge

: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of menu items, daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergy information.

Team Collaboration

: Communicate effectively with management, kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues during service.

Compliance & Closing Duties

: Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards, handle payments responsibly, and assist with closing duties, including resetting tables and areas for the next service.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

: Minimum 2-3 years as a server in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.

Technical Proficiency

: Ability to use multi-line phones and MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with Touch Bistro is highly desirable.

Service Excellence

: Exceptional guest service skills, strong communication in English (verbal and written), and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements

: Ability to bend, twist, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds while performing job duties.

Certifications

:

Serving It Right

certification is mandatory; Food Safe certification is a strong asset.
