Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions, to enhance upselling opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations for checks. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and address any guest concerns regarding their meals. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of the food industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen experience is an asset. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cashiering and check processing. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction. Strong communication skills to interact with both guests and team members effectively.
