Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and efficient housekeeper/breakfast helper to join our team at our boutique bed and breakfast, The Lady Macdonald Country Inn in Canmore. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy environment for our guests, ensuring that their stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. This is a full-time or part-time position, depending on the availability of the candidate.

Responsibilities:

Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, and vacuuming Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers Clean common areas such as the dining room and lounge Wash, dry, and fold laundry as needed Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens Report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs to the management team
As a Breakfast Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a delightful and satisfying breakfast experience. You will assist in the preparation and service of breakfast, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests, taking their orders and providing recommendations when necessary. Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, tea, and juices. Ensure all breakfast items are replenished in a timely manner to meet guest demand. Clear and clean tables promptly, ensuring a tidy and organized dining area. Attend to guest requests and provide excellent customer service throughout their breakfast experience.
Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality environment Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds Must be available to work weekends and holidays, as needed Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
