We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and customer interaction, ensuring that every customer feels valued and satisfied. This role involves both serving food and beverages as well as managing transactions at the cash register:
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the POS system for order entry and payment processing.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high levels of food safety and sanitation practices.
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing accurate change.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms, adhering to sanitation guidelines at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns promptly.
Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service.
Qualifications
Previous experience
(1-3 years)
in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred, with a focus on serving or cashiering roles.
Strong understanding of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient transaction processing.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales is a plus.
