We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. Prior restaurant experience is preferred, along with familiarity with food safety standards and POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, managing guest orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Responsibilities
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts
Assist in food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff as needed
Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and hospitality
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery
Follow all sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
Basic math skills for billing, cashiering, and handling cash transactions
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
