Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the candidate to have bartending knowledge therefore is not suitable for minors.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed in support of the team Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Provide guest services that promote customer satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred Knowledge of POS systems Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards Basic math skills for processing payments and making change accurately Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Experience with food handling, food safety, and food industry best practices Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest experience Good communication skills and a professional appearance are essential
