The Captain's Boil Vaughan is currently hiring part-time and full-time servers with 1-year experience. Must have a Smart serve certification, be available day or evening, weekdays and weekends. Must have customer service experience and good communication skills. Must be a team player, be efficient, have a great personality, and work in a high pace environment.

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing orders and ensuring satisfaction.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all details are captured correctly Deliver food and drinks promptly to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards before serving Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and providing accurate change Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of food service operations Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members A background in hospitality or the food industry is highly desirable
