The Captain's Boil Vaughan is currently hiring part-time and full-time servers with 1-year experience. Must have a Smart serve certification, be available day or evening, weekdays and weekends. Must have customer service experience and good communication skills. Must be a team player, be efficient, have a great personality, and work in a high pace environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing timely food and beverage service.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Pay: $17.20-$27.70 per hour
