The Captain's Boil Vaughan is currently hiring part-time and full-time servers with 1-year experience. Must have a Smart serve certification, be available day or evening, weekdays and weekends. Must have customer service experience and good communication skills. Must be a team player, be efficient, have a great personality, and work in a high pace environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding menu items and specials, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance their dining experience. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process cash handling transactions accurately, including handling payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for all patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and effective communication during busy service periods.

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
