Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a lunch and dinner Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring that all guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied throughout their dining experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Micros POS system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services is essential.
