Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food preparation and serving is essential. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required.
