Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and answering any questions regarding food and beverage options. Take accurate orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to restaurant standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle cash transactions accurately, performing basic math calculations for payments. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to provide informed recommendations to guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders while maintaining quality standards. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is essential. Experience with POS systems and cashiering is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Basic math skills are necessary for processing payments accurately.
