Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, specifically Micros POS.
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed.
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales.
Provide attentive guest services, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Manage cash handling and processing payments accurately, including basic math calculations for transactions.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations in the restaurant industry.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
