As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience through attentive service, effective communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of food items. Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure efficient restaurant operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a focus on restaurant experience. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage with guests effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices and basic food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Familiarity with POS systems. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. Strong attention to detail in order accuracy and presentation of food items. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health regulations.
