Experience

3 years of experience in fast paced restaurants is required. Knowledge of OpenTable & Toast POS is required. Valid Smart Serve is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. A genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences for guests is essential for success in this role.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. We use OpenTable for seating. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing strong time management skills. We use Toast POS for order handling. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, while demonstrating knowledge of food safety and handling practices. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are correct and presented beautifully. Handle cash transactions responsibly, maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns or special requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with bartending duties as needed, showcasing versatility within the restaurant environment. Foster a positive dining experience by providing attentive service and anticipating guest needs.
