We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service throughout their visit. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and manage multiple tasks efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly. Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience while increasing sales.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with familiarity in serving techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Kitchen or culinary experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction.
