Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards throughout the dining area. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to proper handling techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
