Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team! We are a family-owned Thai restaurant located in Sechelt B.C, the heart of the outdoors. We are a family-oriented company that provides a fun and relaxed work environment. As a server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by greeting and seating guests, accurately taking orders, serving an array of beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, specifically Micros POS when applicable. Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining attention to detail. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Assist with beverage preparation and handling, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Process payments accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.

Skills

Past work experience is preferred but not required Previous restaurant experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week
