Servers at OSHA Moo KaTa play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you are responsible for welcoming guests, providing friendly and knowledgeable service, explaining menu items (including Moo Kata instructions / grill support), making recommendations, taking accurate orders, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience from start to finish.
Primary Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and guide them through the Moo Kata concept and dining style.
Provide menu knowledge and recommendations on sauces, grill items, and cooking guidance.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter into POS.
Serve drinks, appetizers, mains, desserts, and ensure proper timing of courses.
Check table status and ensure all items are stocked (sauces, side dishes, utensils, plates, tongs, grill replacements).
Support guests with grill replacement requests, safety handling, and proper cooking guidance.
Maintain table cleanliness and organization throughout service.
Process payments accurately and efficiently.
Work with FOH team -- runners, bussers, bartenders, hosts, expo -- to ensure fast, smooth service.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
Represent OSHA Moo KaTa values -- warm hospitality, teamwork, quality, and "service with a smile."
Qualifications & Requirements
18 years old or older (legal service of alcohol in Ontario).
Prior restaurant service experience preferred, but Moo Kata experience is an asset.
Strong communication skills, friendly personality, positive attitude.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Team player, dependable, punctual, professional.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Weekend / evening availability required.
Ability to explain menu, suggest upsells, and educate guests on the BBQ cooking method.
Smart Serve certification required.
