Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and customer relations, demonstrating exceptional time management and multitasking skills. As a Server, you are the performer at each table to wow your customers and match the right vibe to make the day special at each and every table. You will play a crucial role in providing an outstanding dining experience for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and cutlery. Take accurate food and drink orders using our tablets. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards throughout service. Adhere to the ten steps of service.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in fine dining or high-volume establishments. Familiarity with Givex POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Knowledge of food handling practices is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
