As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing orders and maintaining high standards of food safety.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their meal. Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments and managing cash transactions accurately. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
